Krista Welz is a Library Media Specialist/Librarian in New Jersey. She is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and co-founder of Edcamp Urban.
In 2017, she was awarded Library Journal's 2017 Mover & Shaker Educator and received the honor of being a Tech Troubadour Social Media Superstar from the American Association of School Librarians (AASL).
Krista is currently a doctoral candidate in the Educational Technology Leadership Program at New Jersey City University. She is also an adjunct faculty member for the Educational Technology Department. She specializes in technology integration in schools and libraries, along with online communities and global libraries.
